Ken and Diana have assembled an excellent speakers' programme for 2008 and one field trip has been arranged so far. The annual BBQ has now become established in the HDGS calendar and after Gordon gave Trevor a break last year, we are returning to Battle Barn Farm again this year.

Peter and Joyce Austen produced the 2007 Journal in December: another richly filled and attractively presented issue, but still not attracting the newsy tid-bits from members on their activities and finds! The same applies to this web-site - no news offered by the members at all! Hope this doesn't mean that nobody is doing anything interesting!!!
